I’ve modelled the Renault Trafic in near every form that it was sold or could. It involved learning a bit of Dutch, some French and researching extensively the variants that were sold, including short and long wheel bases, front wheel drive and all wheel drive, single and double cab models and a facelift. Naturally I began with the high roof prefacelift long wheelbase variant and a cool background.

Then came the short wheelbase variant completed within three days, which in scale reference provided the ability to model the facelift front end completed in similar time.

There was one American variant, the Winnebego LeSharo, a rather large motorhome with a unique front end. I modeled the rear end carefully with what information I could find. I did bother to model the rims I spotted fitted stock to these as far as I could tell.

Then came the single cab (for outfitting) variant, which I modelled with the pickup bed I had refrence to with origins of objects setup for correctly positioned hinges.

I would end up finishing this collection with the all wheel drive variants and the double cab. The former sounds trivial, but they have different wheelbases, and subsequent slightlly different body work. The latter had reference in only a few places, with it being about 87.5% van making the process relatively simple.
