Toyota Hiace III

The Toyota Hiace III are designated by wheelbase as the H50 through H70 with trucks H80-H90.

Long, long ago, I began on a 3D model for the Toyota Hiace III, sometime before 2022/01/11. Having only some schematics for the H60 to begin with, I had quite a lot of information to find to construct the entire set of H50, H60, H70, H80 and H90 as well as the variants of each wheelbase.

The main geometry of the body was completed with the panel windows, allowing for completion across all lengths via carefully observing the different sections involved in each wheelbase. I was aware of four front fasica variants and a high roof for the model, so the high roof came next, existing by 2022/03/14.

I then found out about the Sunchaser camper conversion, which moves the front fascia abruptly forwards, but I constructed this in a more OEM fashion. In the process, I would end up setting up my UVs for this model to allow for a decal set matching the reference picture I found.
